A car, which was speeding on the national highway at Durgapuram on the Kodada Bypass, lost control and hit a parked lorry from behind. Two people died on the spot, and two others were seriously injured in the accident. A car traveling at high speed on National Highway 65, as it approached Durgapuram, hit a lorry parked on the side of the road from behind without noticing it. The severity of the accident was so terrible that the front of the car was completely crushed. The driver and passengers were trapped inside.
